The supporters of Club Atlético Lanus booed when C.B.D. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsoa Taranco in the 13th minute of the match. Niceto Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Dimo in the 27th minute of play forced C.B.D.'s goalkeeper Radoslaw Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslaw Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Soares in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Ferrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Leoiar made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Atlético Lanus's Amancio Jobo. Radoslaw Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Oscar Kepa sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Evandro Fantini made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, C.B.D.'s Santo Victoro got a free kick in the 51st minute. C.B.D.'s Radoslaw Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Dumpleton in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Dumpleton in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radoslaw Arendarski saved C.B.D. from getting behind. Hernani Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Ferrando having to interfere. C.B.D.'s Gilberto Inocente was substituted for Otsoa Taranco. Genaro Reno charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Reno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atlético Lanus's Vladimiro Fonda was substituted for Ciriaco Hermon.
