With a little luck, EL AS's Aureliano George got control of the ball when Felix Rudolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Horacio Selmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aureliano George. Horacio Selmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Paulino Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Paulino Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Horacio Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano George having to interfere. Felix Rudolfo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Aureliano George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Barcelona. Felix Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano George having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Horacio Selmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL AS's Aureliano George was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. EL AS's Aureliano George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Selmo in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Selmo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Nicanor Cerilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Barcelona the free kick. In the 78th match minute, F.C Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes F.C Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Cordeara. 81 minutes into the match, F.C Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Hitz came free, but Paulino Manex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Selmo in the 84th minute of the match. If Horacio Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Felix Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano George breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the EL AS defense, Horacio Selmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano George. The EL AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano George should have stopped the shot. F.C Barcelona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
