Deportivo Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porongal the free kick. 6 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Moron:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Porongal's Venancio Remicio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ricardo Joseph. 13 minutes into the game, Deportivo Moron's Carlos Egun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Corderro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Modesto Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Mano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Roman Mano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Porongal's Modesto Corderro. Modesto Corderro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Mano in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes Porongal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Natanael who took care of the corner kick. Deportivo Moron's Rigoberto Natanael was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Modesto Corderro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 33 played minutes Porongal got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Aimar. Modesto Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Mano in the 35th minute of play. Modesto Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Egun in the 37th minute of play. Modesto Corderro came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Moron's Roman Mano. But to his dismay, Roman Mano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Carlos Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deportivo Moron getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nicanor Guillem hit a great ball. Porongal's Lucio Nicholas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Joseph but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Modesto Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Carlos Egun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Modesto Corderro, 1-4. If Carlos Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Porongal got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Eutor. Carlos Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Corderro having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match, Roman Mano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Modesto Corderro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 98th minute, Deportivo Moron's Carlos Egun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Corderro. Modesto Corderro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Deportivo Moron's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
