The supporters of Barra da Lagoa booed when GiuliAkdemia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Darien, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Maximino Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theodosis Gounaris in the 12th minute. When Celestino Guillerme fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GiuliAkdemia's protests and gave Celestino Guillerme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, GiuliAkdemia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Efraim was the one to do the kick off. Severino Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Theodosis Gounaris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barra da Lagoa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GiuliAkdemia the free kick. A collision led to Barra da Lagoa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Theodosis Gounaris hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Kaiet in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Gonzalez saved GiuliAkdemia from getting behind. Albano Orixe charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Orixe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GiuliAkdemia getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Albano Orixe hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Barra da Lagoa's goalkeeper Godfredo Illan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Darien. Leon Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Severino Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barra da Lagoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Kaiet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Kaiet in the 84th minute of play forced GiuliAkdemia's goalkeeper Maximino Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodosis Gounaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gonzalez having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Theodosis Gounaris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barra da Lagoa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Severino Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barra da Lagoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Kaiet couldn't finish the play. Severino Kaiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Maximino Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Barra da Lagoa were the better team. Barra da Lagoa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
