Laureano Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Bikendi in the 44th minute of play. Leones Riocuartenses FC's Silas Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Ceandro in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Ceandro to make the kick off. If Fermin Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Feliciano Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dario Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leones Riocuartenses FC's Silas Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Leones Riocuartenses FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Leones Riocuartenses FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
