Spectators: 7129 (Terracing: 5348, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Bustamante's Jacob Ayensa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Lisandro Clodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bustamante fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jacob Ayensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ulises Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bustamante's Henry Granda suffered a sore foot after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 9 minutes, Wilfredo Goi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fernando Vicente and the Bustamante players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fernando Vicente's Wilfredo Goi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jacob Ayensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ulises Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Manilan having to interfere. If Donato Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Santo Fertus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Fertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Donato Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulises Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ulises Manilan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Ayensa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Rosendo Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustamante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Matei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fernando Vicente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Manilan should have stopped the shot. Donato Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ulises Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Jacob Ayensa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustamante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Ayensa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Rosendo Matei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lisandro Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Clodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Fertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Rosendo Matei suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fernando Vicente's Wilfredo Goi got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Wilfredo Goi off the ground. Bustamante's Arnulfo Rosario was substituted for Rosendo Matei. After a rather tough play, Fernando Vicente's Wilfredo Goi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Donato Quico scored 0-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Bustamante getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Raulo Villa hit a great ball. If Santo Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fernando Vicente's Ulises Manilan got control of the ball when Jacob Ayensa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Bustamante booed when Fernando Vicente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raulo Villa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ulises Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bustamante. Santo Fertus's late challenge caught a Fernando Vicente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Fertus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Santo Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacob Ayensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Clodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Manilan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Bustamante played a much better game than Fernando Vicente and deserved their victory. The Fernando Vicente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
