An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gonchan in the 28th minute of play forced DIEGO's goalkeeper Ture Harlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Pueblo in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Froilan Quinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paolo Leoncio charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ture Harlén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Uriel Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Tercero got free with Ture Harlén in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Francisco Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Tercero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DIEGO's Ture Harlén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save DIEGO from getting a goal against them. 1-2 became the score in the 82nd minute when Uriel Pueblo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Gonchan in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Harlén saved DIEGO from getting behind. Haroldo Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ture Harlén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Tercero in the 95th minute. Almafuerte AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
