Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fitarruín's Gualterio Egoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gualterio Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fitarruín's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Egoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Kusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Bertin's late challenge caught a Fitarruín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Copacabana getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ceferino Bertin hit a great ball. Cayetano Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Norberto Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Nel in the 17th minute of play forced Fitarruín's goalkeeper Norberto Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Arnaldo Nel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Misael. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Fitarruín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Urtun to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Egoi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Delmar Kusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitarruín. The crowd rose to their feet as Copacabana's Arnaldo Nel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Misael. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Norberto Misael made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Arnaldo Nel sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Misael came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Copacabana's Arnaldo Nel. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Nel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Arnaldo Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Misael having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Nel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norberto Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Misael was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Aimar in the 59th minute of play forced Fitarruín's goalkeeper Norberto Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Nel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Misael saved Fitarruín from getting behind. Norberto Misael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Nel's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Gualterio Egoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Delmar Kusko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnaldo Nel took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Misael. Norberto Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Copacabana's Arnaldo Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fitarruín's Norberto Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Nel in the 81st minute of play. If Arnaldo Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fitarruín's goalkeeper Norberto Misael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Lehen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Norberto Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Nel in the 96th minute of play.
