Javier Satordi came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Garin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. When Iker Horado fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento AFC's protests and gave Iker Horado a yellow card for diving instead. Iker Horado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Sarmiento AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Resto came free, but Fausto Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Satordi was a little too slow when Candido Garin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Javier Satordi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento AFC's Constantino Bartolome got a free kick in the 25th minute. Candido Garin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Garin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Pibes booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Constantino Bartolome reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Satordi. The goal made the score 3-0. A collision led to Sarmiento AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ciriaco Ariando hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento AFC's zone, Cesar Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Umbruso came out of the goal and Cesar Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Iker Horado made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pablo Barros however managed to control. In the 58th minute, Gonzalo Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Iker Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Cristobal Quinteros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Umbruso skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Los Pibes booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Dei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Nereo Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Dei, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Resto got free with Fausto Umbruso in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sarmiento AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
