Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Cotagaita FC's Ermegildo Arnas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Corrales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Emenon came free, but Maximo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Astrada came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Cotagaita FC's Filiberto Nesto. But to his dismay, Filiberto Nesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ermegildo Arnas scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Astrada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Arnoldo Emenon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotagaita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Maximo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Emenon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Corrales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Arnas came free, but Maximo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Soccio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maximo Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Cotagaita FC's Arnoldo Emenon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Astrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Edgardo Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Rosalio in the 39th minute. Maximo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Emenon in the 40th minute of play. If Cornelio Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Cotagaita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Tinoco came free, but Edgardo Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Tinoco to make the kick off. Maximo Astrada made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ermegildo Arnas sent off a good shot on target. If Arnoldo Emenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cotagaita FC's Arnoldo Emenon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Astrada. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Nesto got free with Maximo Astrada in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ermegildo Arnas took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Maximo Astrada to make any attempt to save it. When Filiberto Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cotagaita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Nesto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Arnas got free with Maximo Astrada in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corrales AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Ermegildo Arnas scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Astrada, making the score, 0-7. In the 79th minute, Ermegildo Arnas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotagaita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 90thth minute of the game Ermegildo Arnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corrales AFC's Maximo Astrada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Arnas got free with Maximo Astrada in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
