After 14 minutes, Ubaldo Fraco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagañas F.C and the Leztat FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lagañas F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ubaldo Fraco hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Escobar during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leztat FC's Ezequiel Escobar got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gilberto Artaldo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kent Qvarnström might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Rozarius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Qvarnström ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Kent Qvarnström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Rozarius was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Kent Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Kent Qvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagañas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Qvarnström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Rozarius having to interfere. When Gualterio Espiridion came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Lagañas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Espiridion couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Gomesano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Lagañas F.C fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Lagañas F.C's Kent Qvarnström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Gualterio Espiridion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Ubaldo Fraco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Rozarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lagañas F.C's Ubaldo Fraco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Rozarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nereo Rozarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Qvarnström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Nereo Rozarius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Marquez struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nereo Rozarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagañas F.C. Kent Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leztat FC's Nereo Rozarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Leztat FC from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Kent Qvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Rozarius having to interfere. Cirilo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Kent Qvarnström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Rozarius. Kent Qvarnström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Kent Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Osvaldo Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Kent Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lagañas F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
