Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guaberto Iyan took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Gaztea in the 7th minute of play forced Cochagual AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Olo in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Gaztea in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Harkaitz saved Cochagual AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Martino got free with Luciano Guillelmus in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Cochagual AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Tximitx to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jeremias Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Gaztea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Harkaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Martino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Guillelmus. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Devoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Joseph to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Devoto FC's Luciano Guillelmus got control of the ball when Honorio Beremundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Iyan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Guillelmus. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Devoto FC's zone, Victorino Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Guillelmus came out of the goal and Victorino Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Martino got free with Luciano Guillelmus in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Hugo Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, German Milian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luciano Guillelmus. German Milian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Hugo Ixona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano Guillelmus came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Ixona slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Guaberto Iyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochagual AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Gaztea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Devoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Joseph to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, German Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochagual AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Milian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Devoto FC's Luciano Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Iyan in the 58th minute of play. Luciano Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Devoto FC's Luciano Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Martino in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Americo Olo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Devoto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Jeremias Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luciano Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Victorino Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochagual AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Luciano Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Martino in the 82nd minute of play. German Milian kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Guaberto Iyan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. The supporters of Cochagual AFC booed when Devoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luciano Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Hugo Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Devoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Martino came free, but Luciano Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Cochagual AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
