Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Ixona in the 4th minute of play forced Los gorgonitos's goalkeeper Angelino Pabla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Florentino Reno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Pabla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Emanuel Asur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los gorgonitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablo FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Los gorgonitos got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Asur. The supporters of Diablo FC booed when Los gorgonitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Diablo FC's Marcial Ixona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelino Pabla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diablo FC reached it. Ezequiel Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Ixona in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Reno during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, Diablo FC's goalkeeper Amancio Eutropio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Eriz. In the 38th minute, Florentino Reno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Severino Llope who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los gorgonitos's Angelino Pabla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Marcial Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Reno might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Reno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Ismael Selatse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anier Maule's late challenge caught a Los gorgonitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Maule helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diablo FC's Anier Maule got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ismael Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diablo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Ixona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Pabla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Diablo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Reno to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Pabla was a little too slow when Florentino Reno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, Los gorgonitos's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Selatse came free, but Angelino Pabla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Los gorgonitos's Ezequiel Eriz in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diablo FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Diablo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
