Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Horqueta FC's Marco Matthew started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Albano Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Horqueta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Iztal couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Bingen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Min came out and tried to block the shot, but Alonzo Bingen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. gael fc's Dante Min proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save gael fc from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Mincho during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. gael fc made a substitution. Amador Sancho replaced Tobias Lucero. After a rather tough play, Horqueta FC's Marcos Mincho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta FC's zone, Federico Pepillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Osoitz came out of the goal and Federico Pepillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Fausto Tercero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marco Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Min having to make a save. Alonzo Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Min having to interfere. Fabio Camerino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Dante Min when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Horqueta FC's Augusto Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Pepillo in the 37th minute of play. Augusto Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Pepillo in the 39th minute of the match. Felipe Bikendi lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of gael fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Horqueta FC:s goal. The referee gave Horqueta FC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Matthew, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of gael fc's Dante Min. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Tercero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Horqueta FC's goalkeeper Augusto Osoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Tercero. Marcos Mincho struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Dante Min didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horqueta FC. In the 82nd minute Marco Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horqueta FC's Augusto Osoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Horqueta FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Camerino in the 88th minute of play forced gael fc's goalkeeper Dante Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Osoitz made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Fausto Tercero sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Fabio Camerino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Min. gael fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Camerino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. gael fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
