Ruben Caton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Bazil made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Porteña AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruben Caton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Los Pasteros Verdes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Porteña AFC:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Porteña AFC. Ovidio Milio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adrian Barrionuevo. 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Los Pasteros Verdes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Aurken to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Elvio Inge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteña AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Inge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 22 minutes on the clock, Hipolito Fiz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 23rd minute, Hipolito Fiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ruben Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Porteña AFC were awarded a corner. Ovidio Milio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Porteña AFC's corner Humberto Abel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrian Barrionuevo quite easily take care of the ball. Tiburcio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Tanio in the 40th minute of the match. Ruben Caton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Bazil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Dolcet during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Maidana made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 47thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tiburcio Bazil would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Juan Maidana took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Bazil. Tiburcio Bazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ruben Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteña AFC's Tiburcio Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Caton in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Tanio in the 62nd minute of play forced Porteña AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Isaac Tanio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Pasteros Verdes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porteña AFC the free kick. In the 65th minute, Isaac Tanio made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Bazil. Porteña AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ruben Caton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Bazil having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Errolan in the 74th minute of play forced Porteña AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tiburcio Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Los Pasteros Verdes's Juan Maidana made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Bazil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Juan Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Caton in the 88th minute of play. If Elvio Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Inge got free with Adrian Barrionuevo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pasteros Verdes's zone, Elvio Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Elvio Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Barrionuevo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Los Pasteros Verdes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
