Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rigoberto Navarro made the kick off which started today's match. Adrian Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Navarro in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Los Pasteros Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Farias came free, but Adrian Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Pasteros Verdes's goalkeeper Adrian Barrionuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Caton in the 13th minute of play forced Ombú's goalkeeper Joel Donostia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ombú getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Andres Abarca hit a great ball. Adrian Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Teodoro Farias sent off a good shot on target. Los Pasteros Verdes's Ruben Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Adrian Barrionuevo managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Ombú's Rigoberto Navarro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adrian Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Navarro in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Maidana made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Ombú got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Farias. After 56 minutes of play, Ombú's Erasmo Goren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute of the match Anastasio Petri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Maidana in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ombú's zone, Juan Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Donostia came out of the goal and Juan Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ombú's Rigoberto Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Teodoro Farias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Barrionuevo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ruben Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Donostia having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Andres Abarca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ombú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Pasteros Verdes the free kick. The supporters of Ombú booed when Los Pasteros Verdes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Juan Maidana made a precise shot to the right of Joel Donostia. Ombú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 90 minutes into the game, Ruben Caton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Joel Donostia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pasteros Verdes's zone, Teodoro Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Teodoro Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
