BARCELONA F.C's Horacio Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Santiago in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Bartolo Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARCELONA F.C and the Winifreda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BARCELONA F.C's Bartolo Abreu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Teofilo Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Sixto Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonardo Che came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the BARCELONA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Che couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Abreu was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ovidio Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazar Astrov having to interfere. Teofilo Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nazar Astrov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazar Astrov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Oinatz in the 33rd minute of play. Horacio Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Santiago in the 34th minute of play. Garip Akburçak got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sixto Lehen. Horacio Fix was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Julio Santiago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julio Santiago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 43 minutes into the game, Clemente Ceresso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Winifreda's Darius Barr quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 46 minutes into the match, Juan Katia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Fix. BARCELONA F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Katia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Santiago to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Winifreda's Juan Katia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Fix was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juan Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Winifreda defense, Ovidio Oinatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nazar Astrov. The Winifreda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nazar Astrov should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute Juan Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Winifreda's Nazar Astrov got control of the ball when Ovidio Oinatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horacio Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Katia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Garip Akburçak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winifreda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARCELONA F.C the free kick. A collision led to Winifreda getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Fix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Teofilo Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
