After a defensive mix-up in Malagueño's zone, Joel Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Lucila came out of the goal and Joel Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Malagueño booed when Bosteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Teisanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes, Bernhard Aabloo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bosteros and the Malagueño players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Bernhard Aabloo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Cordarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Lucila having to make a save. When Bernhard Aabloo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bosteros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernhard Aabloo couldn't finish the play. Cristian Teisanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Turi in the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Joel Franco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Malagueño's Nestor Lucila. Nestor Lucila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Malagueño's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Cordarin came free, but Nestor Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Malagueño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Frisco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hugo Frisco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristian Teisanu, passed just outside the right post. Nestor Lucila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 79 minutes, Gavino Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernhard Aabloo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Bosteros got a freekick which was hit by Dante Sadurni. 84 minutes into the match, Malagueño's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Cordarin came free, but Nestor Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bosteros getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alejo Cresenciano hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Bosteros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camilo Turi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Malagueño booed when Bosteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernhard Aabloo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bosteros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
