Celestino Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. Celestino Veronica hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Fernendo in the 17th minute of play forced Defensores de Caballito's goalkeeper Luisito Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Fernendo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Quirce. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 24 played minutes Defensores de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Mundo. Malaspina AFC's Javier Huly shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luisito Quirce but with some difficulty. Florencio Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Quintan in the 29th minute of play. Lisandro Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Panpili having to interfere. If Celestino Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Defensores de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Fernendo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Luisito Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaspina AFC.
