Christian Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Nahia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Astudillo in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Quiroga in the 12th minute of play forced cazukito's goalkeeper Christian Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Ñacanguazú's corner Isaias Itzaina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Ovando quite easily take care of the ball. Christian Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Gimenez hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in cazukito's zone, Zeledon Gustau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Ovando came out of the goal and Zeledon Gustau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, cazukito's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Quiroga came free, but Christian Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Gervasio Sagrario made a precise shot to the right of Christian Ovando. cazukito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 29th minute Paolo Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. cazukito's Americo Manilan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 36 minutes, Paolo Indalecio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ñacanguazú's Lorenzo Nahia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 played minutes, Ñacanguazú's Raul Henrico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Ovando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ñacanguazú reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Manilan got free with Lorenzo Nahia in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Teofilo Astudillo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lorenzo Nahia, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Ñacanguazú getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Martin Luix hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gervasio Sagrario made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Astudillo in the 54th minute of play forced Ñacanguazú's goalkeeper Lorenzo Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes in the game, Zeledon Gustau fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christian Ovando having to interfere. A collision led to cazukito getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Julian Izotz hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Raul Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. cazukito's Christian Ovando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save cazukito from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, Ñacanguazú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Henrico to maneuver through the defense. If Teofilo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 85 minutes on the clock, Aristides Hegoi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Teofilo Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Teofilo Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. cazukito had played much better football throughout.
