The Gorillaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Fonso should have stopped the shot. Buda Fútbol Club's Emil Spasov got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Fonso was a little too slow when Gustavo Fidele got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gustavo Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Bladi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gorillaz's Ezequiel Fonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Fidele in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Fidele in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Fonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Buda Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Conrado Mitxaut went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomás Macario hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Emil Spasov struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ezequiel Fonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buda Fútbol Club. If Esteve Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Fonso made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gustavo Fidele sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 52nd minute, Gustavo Fidele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Fonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 55th minute, Eleuterio Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gorillaz's Ezequiel Fonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Fidele in the 57th minute of play. Ezequiel Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Fidele in the 59th minute of play. Emil Spasov scored 6-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Fonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Genaro Ariando hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Spasov in the 66th minute of play forced Gorillaz's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gorillaz getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Genaro Ariando hit a great ball. After 68 minutes, Emil Spasov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buda Fútbol Club and the Gorillaz players grew even worse after the yellow card.
