Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogelio Montxo started the match with the kick off. Artemio Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Cordarrel struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Artemio Lonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ombú. 10 minutes into the match, Mariano Cordarrel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chira FC's Artemio Lonzo. Artemio Lonzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Pedroso scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Lonzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ombú booed when Chira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Cordarrel struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Artemio Lonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ombú. In the 26th minute of the match Marcelino Xabat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Lonzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Artemio Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Pedroso in the 27th minute of the match. If Rogelio Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Hipolito Iruinea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Raul Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Damian Pedroso put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Artemio Lonzo. Camilo Teofilio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Gonsalve. Ombú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Artemio Lonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Cordarrel went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Ombú were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Camilo Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ombú's protests and gave Camilo Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Ombú got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Eneto. Manuel Urti's late challenge caught a Ombú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Urti helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Chira FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Urti. When Mariano Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ombú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. After having played for 63 minutes, Mariano Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Cordarrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Artemio Lonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chira FC's Artemio Lonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chira FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81stth minute of the game Mariano Cordarrel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chira FC's Artemio Lonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chira FC's Artemio Lonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Chira FC from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Artemio Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Cordarrel in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes, Rigoberto Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chira FC and the Ombú players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Geronimo Roldan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chira FC's Artemio Lonzo didn't even have to move. Artemio Lonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Eneto in the 94th minute. If Damian Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ombú's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
