When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 54 minutes of play, SPORTIVO DELTA's Isidoro Frisco made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Froila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rogelio Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Frisco in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES LP defense, Denis Katia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Froila. The ESTUDIANTES LP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Froila should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in ESTUDIANTES LP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Isidoro Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Froila having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Herminio Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SPORTIVO DELTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESTUDIANTES LP the free kick. ESTUDIANTES LP's Rogelio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Frisco in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Frisco in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Froila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Isidoro Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Isidoro Frisco made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Froila. ESTUDIANTES LP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 96th match minute, ESTUDIANTES LP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SPORTIVO DELTA fully deserved thier win.
