The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Tonete during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cipolleti's Daniel Montxo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Mario Calisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomil Michalski. Cipolleti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Calisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Igor de Queiroz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauaxeta Candelo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the match, Cipolleti's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Nayely came free, but Radomil Michalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Calisto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomil Michalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Arsenio Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Michalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Espeleta AFC's zone, Belchior Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauaxeta Candelo came out of the goal and Belchior Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Radomil Michalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espeleta AFC's Domingos Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Michalski having to interfere. Cipolleti's Radomil Michalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Nayely in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Domingos Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espeleta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Lehoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Michalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cipolleti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Espeleta AFC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Igor de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. Belchior Galvão struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lauaxeta Candelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipolleti. Evelio Gombal's late challenge caught a Espeleta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Gombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Cipolleti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gombal to maneuver through the defense. Lauaxeta Candelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Llorenc made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Domingos Lehoi. A collision led to Espeleta AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Domingos Lehoi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Calisto in the 66th minute of play forced Cipolleti's goalkeeper Radomil Michalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipolleti's Daniel Montxo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivan Llorenc, made in the 89th minute of the game. Daniel Montxo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cipolleti's Radomil Michalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Cipolleti from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cipolleti getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gaspar Tonete hit a great ball. Radomil Michalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Calisto in the 94th minute of the match. With his leg Radomil Michalski managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Espeleta AFC's Mario Calisto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Espeleta AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cipolleti.
