After 25 played minutes, C A LA NARANJA's Amancio Ereinotz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prospero Ellande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C A LA NARANJA reached it. Mario Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the C A LA NARANJA defense, Alfredo Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Lobo. Dario Pepillo ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, C A LA NARANJA's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Pedroso came free, but Mario Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Pepillo was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
