After a rather tough play, Caroya AFC's Radim Borkovec got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Erasmo Ferrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Candido Elazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Bortzaioriz. Hdp Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Elazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Radim Borkovec fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caroya AFC's protests and gave Radim Borkovec a yellow card for diving instead. Radim Borkovec kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Hdp Fc's Erasmo Ferrando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Gaitan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hdp Fc reached it. The supporters of Hdp Fc booed when Caroya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicklas Blom's late challenge caught a Hdp Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicklas Blom helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, Hdp Fc's Ermegildo Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Elazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Igor Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Ferrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Amador Gaitan made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Hdp Fc's zone, Candido Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Candido Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hdp Fc's Primitivo Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Blom in the 77th minute of play. If Benito Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caroya AFC's zone, Benito Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Gaitan came out of the goal and Benito Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Gaitan having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Caroya AFC's Candido Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Bortzaioriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Caroya AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hdp Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
