Samuel Txerran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killers FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Anibal Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Luar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Txerran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Talamuyuna AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alberto Pierres hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Florinio to make the kick off. When Rodolfo Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killers FC's protests and gave Rodolfo Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Killers FC's Efrain Artaldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Txerran. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Amadeo Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Orlondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Amadeo Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amadeo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Amadeo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot.
