Julian Ixona started the match with the kick off. Victor Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of Arbolito booed when Cycling Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Cilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fabio Guillerme made a huge save. Hilario Peli charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Peli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Hilario Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cycling Team's Ruben Quintana got a free kick in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cycling Team's Delmiro Chus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Müller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermegildo Tome hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Delmiro Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cycling Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hilario Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

With a little luck, Arbolito's Victor Müller got control of the ball when Hilario Peli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Müller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Selatse in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Müller saved Arbolito from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Hilario Peli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Hilario Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Müller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cycling Team's Ruben Quintana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Müller but with some difficulty. Hilario Pelis short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Victor Müller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Abelardo Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbolito's protests and gave Abelardo Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Arbolito got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Ihintza. With a little luck, Arbolito's Victor Müller got control of the ball when Hilario Peli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Delmiro Chus came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Cycling Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Chus couldn't finish the play. Hilario Peli hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Joaquin Hondo's late challenge caught a Cycling Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Hondo helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Hondo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Peli in the 94th minute of play forced Arbolito's goalkeeper Victor Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Hondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
