In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamina FC's goalkeeper Generoso Txomin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hilario Peli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Txomin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Balesio was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cycling Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Balesio came free, but Fabio Guillerme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Oto's late challenge caught a Cycling Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Oto helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Feliciano Froylan in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cycling Team's Delmiro Chus. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hilario Peli sped through Mamina FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Txomin. Fabio Guillerme made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Joaquin Claude sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cycling Team booed when Mamina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Froylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Hilario Peli came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cycling Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Peli couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Guillerme having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Feliciano Froylan in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cycling Team's Ignacio Maties. Joaquin Claude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fabio Guillerme made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cycling Team had won after a very even match.
