Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Odilon kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Libertad AC's Haroldo Iruinea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Cordearo. Leon Cordearo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias das Neves in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Seber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Libertad AC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Guillelmo came free, but Manuel Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Libertad AC's Manuel Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Luken in the 14th minute of play. Justo Guillelmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Manuel Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Platon in the 19th minute of play forced Libertad AC's goalkeeper Manuel Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Platon's late challenge caught a Libertad AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Platon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MANTECA ATLETIC FC's Eustaquio Platon got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Libertad AC's Eugenio Quilino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MANTECA ATLETIC FC. When Zacarias das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the MANTECA ATLETIC FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias das Neves couldn't finish the play. If Honorato Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Seber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Guillelmo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 53 played minutes MANTECA ATLETIC FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Loren. 56 minutes into the match, Libertad AC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias das Neves came free, but Manuel Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Justo Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MANTECA ATLETIC FC fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad AC's zone, Justo Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Seber came out of the goal and Justo Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Guillelmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Manuel Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Libertad AC's goalkeeper Manuel Seber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Luken. After having played for 73 minutes, Justo Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MANTECA ATLETIC FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Guillelmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Platon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Seber came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Platon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Justo Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANTECA ATLETIC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Guillelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Cleto Luken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the MANTECA ATLETIC FC defense, Haroldo Iruinea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Cordearo. The MANTECA ATLETIC FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Cordearo should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the MANTECA ATLETIC FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
