Cosme Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Ted, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Surihuaya booed when Sport Club Cañadense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Freddy Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Ted to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Surihuaya's zone, Matias Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Satordi came out of the goal and Matias Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Rufo's late challenge caught a Surihuaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Freddy Firme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Orland was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Surihuaya's Cosme Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Pacifico in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Matias Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Cañadense's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Ted was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Ted in the 96th minute of play forced Surihuaya's goalkeeper Cosme Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
