The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Eliu got free with Cosme Satordi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Fagildo made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bruno Gonza however managed to control. Angelino Eliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cosme Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Surihuaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Eliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cosme Satordi made a huge save. Angelino Eliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Satordi having to interfere. With a little luck, Surihuaya's Cosme Satordi got control of the ball when Angelino Eliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Angelino Eliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Satordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 82 minutes into the game, Angelino Eliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cosme Satordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Angelino Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Argentinos Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
