The referee ignored Barreal FC's protests and gave Honorio Munio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Munio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Gaur in the 21st minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Marco Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Cayetano Nevada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barreal FC's Marco Vela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pirata Cordobez's Maximo Cordero got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Vela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Nevada's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Maximo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirata Cordobez's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Vela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Edorta in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Nevada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Pirata Cordobez got a corner. Barreal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Braulio Rumaldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Braulio Rumaldo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barreal FC's Marco Vela did a great save. Alejo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Cordero struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marco Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirata Cordobez. In the 62nd minute, Cayetano Nevada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Vela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Pirata Cordobez booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Vela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Gaur in the 68th minute. Beto Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Cruz in the 70th minute of the match. Atilano Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Pirata Cordobez booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Faustino Gaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beto Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Rodolfo Charro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal FC and the Pirata Cordobez players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Cordero came free, but Marco Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Vela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximo Cordero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. Barreal FC's Marco Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Cordero in the 92nd minute of play.
