Jesus Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Flavio Gombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Don Bosco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Ekhi to make the kick off. Joaquin Venceslao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jesus Hibai made a huge save. The Don Bosco FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Don Bosco FC's Joaquin Venceslao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Don Bosco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chaveta Sporting Club .
