In the 14thth minute of the game Anibal Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiro Federal Fc's Fernan Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiro Federal Fc's Fernan Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Dobos in the 16th minute of play. Honorato Frasco scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Gonchan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Tiro Federal Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Iturri came free, but Fernan Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Fútbol Club Fortuna's László Dobos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Gonchan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fernan Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Frasco in the 30th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Telo made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tiro Federal Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernan Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Salamon in the 57th minute of the match. Fútbol Club Fortuna were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Tiro Federal Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. László Dobos took the corner. László Dobos made a great header on Fútbol Club Fortuna's corner, it was just that Tiro Federal Fc's Fernan Gonchan managed to reach the ball for a save. Anibal Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Gonchan having to interfere. If Lorenzo Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Galsino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Frasco in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Fútbol Club Fortuna's Honorato Frasco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Gonchan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Montae having to interfere. Tiro Federal Fc's Fernan Gonchan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Tiro Federal Fc from getting a goal against them. Fernan Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Dobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tiro Federal Fc's Lisandro Izotz got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Honorato Frasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernan Gonchan. Honorato Frasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Iturri got free with Fernan Gonchan in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Gonchan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Galsino in the 95th minute. The Tiro Federal Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fútbol Club Fortuna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
