Mateo Perfecto charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Perfecto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cleto Sandalio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Cruz del Sur's Tadeo Ticho threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Valery, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Chinto in the 81st minute of play. When Reynaldo Conrao fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruz del Sur's protests and gave Reynaldo Conrao a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Julio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Perfecto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Ticho. That made the score 4-6 in the 93 minute of play.
