Spectators: 6633 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudio Furtado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carrizal's Anselmo Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Furtado in the 4th minute of play. When Freddy Bazil came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pereyra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Bazil couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Erauso charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Erauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pereyra booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11th play minutes Freddy Bazil shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Anselmo Goiz and just under the crossbar into goal. Freddy Bazil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Anselmo Goiz made a huge save. Freddy Bazil might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Goiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Bazil ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Bazil charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Pereyra got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Bazil. After 24 minutes, Freddy Bazil made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carrizal's Anselmo Goiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carrizal's Anselmo Goiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizal from getting a goal against them. If Freddy Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Geofredo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Freddy Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereyra's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Bazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Goiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pereyra's Jaime Hondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Federico Filipo, made in the 45th minute of the game. Freddy Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Anselmo Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Freddy Bazil sped through Carrizal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anselmo Goiz. A collision led to Carrizal getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edgardo Clis hit a great ball. Anselmo Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Furtado in the 75th minute of play. If Freddy Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Iratxo having to interfere. With a little luck, Pereyra's Emanuel Iratxo got control of the ball when Flavio Selatse tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pereyra fully deserved thier win.
