Raimundo Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Humberto Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Humberto Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Malboro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Mundo couldn't finish the play. When Alejandro Giro fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rabona FC's protests and gave Alejandro Giro a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Gaston Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malboro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bernardino Sarracino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malboro. Humberto Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bernardino Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Monte kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thiago Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Baristo in the 52nd minute of the match. When Moises Herensuge fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 63rd minute, Gaston Jerrald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
