But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Guillerme couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Atilano Atauri made a precise shot to the right of Victorio Betadur. Integration team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Silvano Guter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Guillerme was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. El Leoncito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Desiderio Aguirreburualde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Integration team's Victorio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Iztal in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Guter got free with Victorio Betadur in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Guillerme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Betadur was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Silvano Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Leoncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Guter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 30 in the game by Silvano Guter from a close distance when the talented Victorio Betadur managed to make a qualified save. Integration team's players were relieved. When Gogo Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Leoncito's protests and gave Gogo Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Leoncito getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gogo Dominguez hit a great ball. Victorio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Integration team's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Atauri came free, but Victorio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aurelio Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of El Leoncito booed when Integration team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, El Leoncito's Silvano Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorio Betadur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Victorio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Atauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Julio Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Guter in the 66th minute of play forced Integration team's goalkeeper Victorio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Integration team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Integration team getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aurelio Eutropio hit a great ball. El Leoncito's Silvano Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Lohitzun kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Aurelio Eutropio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Desiderio Aguirreburualde made a huge save. Julio Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Leoncito fully deserved thier win.
