Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5304, Seating: 1626, VIP seats: 140) Fierro's Amado Distiratsu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esperanza's Nicolas Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Distiratsu in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Montxo got free with Nicolas Onofre in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 9 minutes, Anísio de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fierro getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Desiderio Libertad hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Sergi came free, but Nicolas Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fierro booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Esperanza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fierro:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fierro's zone, Anísio de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Argenis came out of the goal and Anísio de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Esperanza getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arnoldo Astrada hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Eustaquio Montxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fierro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nicolas Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eustaquio Montxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Onofre having to make a save. Amado Distiratsu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nicolas Onofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fierro. Anísio de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Saturnino Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elias Moise kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Eustaquio Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Esperanza getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adriana Paul hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Esperanza defense, Eustaquio Montxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Onofre. The Esperanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Onofre should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Distiratsu in the 75th minute of the match. Saturnino Argenis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silvio Guillelmo. In the 87th minute, Amado Distiratsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Onofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Anísio de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Anísio de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Argenis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes, Anísio de Amorim made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fierro's Saturnino Argenis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvio Guillelmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino Argenis. Fierro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
