Spectators: 6639 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 0) Cañada's Eriberto Hernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Pedrinho Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirámide's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséas Paraense during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oséas Paraense hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Silvano Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Emmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Oriche scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Weterio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Oriche who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Weterio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Pirámide's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Llin came free, but Martin Chaime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Hernandez in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañada's goalkeeper Jacinto Weterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Isidro Pirro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Chaime showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Francisco Oriche succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 40th playminute. Pedrinho Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Weterio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Paraibano made a kick off. Pirámide's Martin Chaime proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Pirámide from getting a goal against them. Bonifacio Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jacinto Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Paraibano in the 63rd minute of play. Oséas Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cañada's Silvano Emmanuel took a good shot, in the 83rd minute, which hit the crossbar above Martin Chaime's head, and flew over the goal. Pirámide's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Cañada. Francisco Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Weterio having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Pirámide got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Arixo. Pirámide walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
