Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yaví's Florentino Lop started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariel Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Lop's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Brun in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Egoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Los Piratas's Hermengildo Gotzon in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adrian Sidoro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 41st playminute. Patricio Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Yaví's zone, Hermengildo Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Egoitz came out of the goal and Hermengildo Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Brun made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Yaví was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Vellito charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Vellito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Mendebal having to interfere. If Florentino Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Yaví booed when Los Piratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Tristan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Los Piratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Tristan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Brun in the 69th minute of play forced Yaví's goalkeeper Patricio Egoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Adrian Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Florencio Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Yaví fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. Florentino Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Adrian Sidoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaví's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Sidoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Florentino Lop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yaví fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 81 minutes into the match, Los Piratas's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Sidoro came free, but Ariel Mendebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaví's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
