The supporters of IndependienteFC booed when Cayuqueo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Benito Gartxot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Ariando skillfully saved the ball.
