The supporters of Riquelmeanos F.C booed when Gandofi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Gilberto Austin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Abechuco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Amancio Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Berenguer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Abancens in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Abechuco saved Gandofi from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Cleto Gaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riquelmeanos F.C and the Gandofi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee ignored Riquelmeanos F.C's protests and gave Gilberto Austin a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Riquelmeanos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Cordeal. Delmiro Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Socorro in the 86th minute of play. If Raul Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Socorro scored 1-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Berenguer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Riquelmeanos F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gandofi.
