Rodrigo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Pietro in the 6th minute of play. Gaudencio Tello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Joey made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Cazadores's zone, Roberto Baristo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Joey came out of the goal and Roberto Baristo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cazadores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Hermengildo Jerico scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Joey, making the score, 1-0. With his leg Rodrigo Joey managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Vargas AFC's Abelardo Pietro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Pietro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Joey saved Cazadores from getting behind. A hard shot 32 in the game by Abelardo Pietro from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Joey managed to make a qualified save. Cazadores's players were relieved. Rodrigo Joey came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Vargas AFC's Abelardo Pietro. But to his dismay, Abelardo Pietro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 42 minutes into the game, Eusebio Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargas AFC the free kick. Eusebio Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Roberto Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Tello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abelardo Pietro made the kick off in the second half. Arturo Claude hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Abelardo Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Pietro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Joey was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cazadores's zone, Roberto Baristo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Joey came out of the goal and Roberto Baristo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Gaudencio Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Rodrigo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Vargas AFC were awarded a corner. Roberto Baristo went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodolfo Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Pietro in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Joey saved Cazadores from getting behind. Rodrigo Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Pietro's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Cazadores's Rodrigo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Jerico in the 82nd minute of play. When Vargas AFC's Abelardo Pietro in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vargas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Rameriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Joey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Pietro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Joey saved Cazadores from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cazadores's Eusebio Tulio got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vargas AFC fully deserved thier win.
