In the 28thth minute of the game Benicio Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BabyBoys's Cornelio Koldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Asur in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Koldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Canor in the 33rd minute of play forced BabyBoys's goalkeeper Cornelio Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Asur in the 34th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Churcal's Leonel Asur made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Koldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leonel Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churcal's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Koldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BabyBoys's Jimeno Normando suffered a sore knee after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 47 minutes, Severo Acevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Churcal and the BabyBoys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Asur was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Koldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Benicio Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Cornelio Koldo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Asur in the 83rd minute of play forced BabyBoys's goalkeeper Cornelio Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Cosme Canor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Koldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. With his leg Cornelio Koldo managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Churcal's Benicio Thomas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornelio Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Churcal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
