With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Efren in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Horado saved Chechus FC from getting behind. Jonas Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Efren in the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Odilon during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Cortez in the 36th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Ladislao Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Efren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Horado was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chechus FC's zone, Gualterio Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Horado came out of the goal and Gualterio Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Efren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonas Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Efren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Balasi in the 85th minute of play. Zeledon Gudesteo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Arnoldo Efren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Gualterio Guerau hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Club Atletico River Plate left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chechus FC.
