Esteban Quin charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Quin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Merlolaureles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Quin to maneuver through the defense. Martin Janpier hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Esteban Quin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Orlondo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Remir to make the kick off. Merlolaureles's Maximino Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Remir in the 52nd minute of play. Maximino Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Remir's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Napoli's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Honorato Gomez 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. A collision led to Merlolaureles getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mariano Suero hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Denis Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Merlolaureles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Napoli throughout the match.
