After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gavino Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benjamin Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes San Carlos got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Oro. Oscar Karlo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Benjamin Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hereford FC. Eriberto Gabirel scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Seguinus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Oscar Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Hereford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Crescencio came free, but Rogelio Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Eriberto Gabirel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hereford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Eriberto Gabirel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Seguinus having to make a save. Oscar Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Benjamin Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

San Carlos's Benjamin Seguinus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save San Carlos from getting a goal against them. Esteban Oro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Karlo in the 61st minute of play forced San Carlos's goalkeeper Benjamin Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jimeno Guipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Carlos's protests and gave Jimeno Guipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Fulgencio Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in San Carlos's zone, Anier Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Seguinus came out of the goal and Anier Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes of play, Hereford FC's Eriberto Gabirel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Seguinus was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Brion in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Delfino saved Hereford FC from getting behind. In the 82ndth minute of the game Eriberto Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Carlos's Benjamin Seguinus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Freddy Nabar fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hereford FC's protests and gave Freddy Nabar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, one of Hereford FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hereford FC. Rogelio Delfino went to the wrong direction when Narciso Jordy was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 90th match minute, Hereford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, San Carlos's Benjamin Seguinus got control of the ball when Eriberto Gabirel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Carlos's Narciso Jordy got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hereford FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
