Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saturnino Ospin started the match with the kick off. Gaston Elia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Victor Galindo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. San Carlos's Benjamin Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Honrio in the 12th minute of play. Amadeo Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benjamin Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in San Carlos's zone, Nemesio Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Seguinus came out of the goal and Nemesio Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Honrio scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Seguinus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sunte F.C's Nemesio Inko got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sunte F.C's goalkeeper Gaston Elia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Brion. In the 34th match minute, Sunte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Ponc to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunte F.C's goalkeeper Gaston Elia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Gaston Elia managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when San Carlos's Erubiel Brion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteban Oro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Elia. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Oscar Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sunte F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nemesio Inko hit a great ball. Oscar Honrio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Seguinus having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Crescencio to make the kick off. Erubiel Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gaston Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Brion in the 53rd minute of play forced Sunte F.C's goalkeeper Gaston Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Oscar Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Inko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Honrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Benjamin Seguinus made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Oscar Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Inko got free with Benjamin Seguinus in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Jimeno Guipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Carlos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunte F.C the free kick. In the 80th match minute, San Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Nemesio Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunte F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Honrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Seguinus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, San Carlos's Siro Lartaun got a free kick in the 94th minute. Oscar Honrio, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, San Carlos could leave the field as winners, despite Sunte F.C having more of the ball for most of the match.
